Hi I have a mk3 mondeo tdci 2005 model year build. I have bought new injectors from a Delphi supplier and put them in. The car runs but of course is rough. I can normally programe new codes ok, but for some reason , and after down loading latest software , the ecu is not taking the new codes. The software does its work and says Action Ok, but when i click READ it comes back with original codes, not the new ones i need in the car. Ive reloaded the software, charged car battery but nothing is working. HELP!! Tony ( UK ) |

Hi. I did not get anything like that. Did you try to clear of errors prior of action ? |

I click the brush button and the codes disappear, then i type in new codes and go through the process as guided by software. It comes back Action OK. I then click read codes again and the old codes come up! It hasn't saved new codes. Any ideas?? |

right, it seems i can re enter the original codes in the ecu in any order i like. i can also enter 00000000 in the code boxes and itll accept that, but if i enter a code off the new injectors it will not add it. some times says bad code, or wont save it after the procedure. entering 000000 in all of the codes has made the car run smoother but its not correct of course. Right , after a few different trys on different vehicles, it seems its not the software totally, it seems to be the codes on the injectors causing issues. Ive had to take the injectors and vehicle to a local Delphi specialist and he tried with their equipment, its a delphi unit with a j 1296 cable i think the number is. Same issue, but it shows up that the codes on a couple of them as being bad. it just rejected them saying bad codes. a slight tweek with the numbers and they loaded although this meant the vehicle ran rough as the codes were not accurate enough. I then used the adjusted codes on fordiag software. They loaded. So all I can say is that the fordiag software will not load bad codes but it doesnt tell you they are bad. it just does the process but doesnt load them it seems, and with out alerting you that the code is bad.
