Not neede. It could be done on cold car. Hot car must be in DPF regeneration action,
but it is not provide in Fordiag currently. One of cause Fordiag does not provide such action is danger of it on this model.

after that we start the DPF reset and after ignition OFF we have to wait for 30 seconds and the
Ignition ON again.
It varies diag. to diag. There are some differencies between theirs procs ....
Some difs. are mistakes in soft, some are unsignificant.
(Even on Bosch KTS there are some faults in some procedures.)

"reset DPF filter" causes cleaning of difference pressure characteristics in an ECU.
