Hello @ all,
Hello Tomas,

I hope is no problem for you to read/write here in English.
I am a german ForDiag user and i have a few problems.

My Car is a
Ford Mondeo MK3
2.0 85kW
Year 2007
DieselParticularFiltre DPF (standard)

I have two Problems.

Can someone tell me if this Value is correct or is there a broken sensor.
The Value movingrange during the normal drive is from 2-5

Nr. 2
this Value is everytime moving...
Is this normal or also a broken part?
Next Photo will be the Oszilloskope from this Value (I hope it was the right PID)

Hi,

I am not the right person with much TDDI and TDCI skils, sorry.
Maybe someone with TDxI here could identify if there are some differences in live data.

About EGR - I would start from schema of engine. Is there a vacuum regulator for EGR valve, or stepping motor ... ?
DTC - "... range / performance" - I would suspect some clogging in a egr or so. Was it cleaned ?

Here is a TDCI on Focus (the same Delphi system) and there is cca 90-100kPa in the intake on a idle.

Did you try to open gauge (stop live data prior) with doubleclick and check if there is a right PID ?
There could be some bad PID defined from software. (Soft dynamically reconfigure gauges in order to work on different
engine types so there could be an error in soft. Just tip for sure.)

Hallo Tomas,

this was my intent!

I am looking for someone owner of
MONDEO MK3 Year 2006-2007 with standart DPF and 2.0 85kW TDCI engine
and
ForDiag SW (latest Version)

Its great if this People can check this Value with standart adjustments.

My Problem is i have to search for an ERROR in my enginge but this
Error will not indicate in the ERROR-List of Engine control unit.

Also i need a step-by-step manual for clear the DPF values.
I see this DPF RESET Button on my SERVICE Flag and i tried
this a few times
BUT NEVER WORKS.

I always follow the intruductions on screen but after IGNITION ON
There is nothing happend.
The result is, after this procedure i can not start the engine!
there is a strange noise from under the car and the starterr is always running
and there is no engine start.

The engine is first starting again after disconnect the obd2 plug and turn ignition OFF for long time.

Could you send me a LOG file, please ?
(menu setting, write comm. data to ALL, after that try to start DPF reset and then send me
file Fordiag_Com.LOG from %appdata%\Fordiag folder)

Hello Tomas,

thanks for this information with the LOG file.

I will make in a few hours the DPF reset.
But there are many interested questions i had...

So must be the car in opperating temperature?
Must the Cars enginge RUN in the moment of beginning this procedure?
Have wait for a longer time to POWER OFF the MCU?

Because my last reset in the repair shop was made by an HELLA DIAGNOSTICS UNIT

and this DU indicates on the Display that i have to wait for opperating temperature...
after that we start the DPF reset and after ignition OFF we have to wait for 30 seconds and the
Ignition ON again.

What did your software if i want RESET THE DPF?
Is there claening the diffrence pressure Vaulue in the MCU that will allways bring me this
Error in the ERROR CODES that i can not ERASE?

Hi,

in a service tab you should have two options for DPF.
1, reset DPF sensor
2, reset DPF filter

These actions should be used only by educated persons. It is essential.

After "reset DPF filter" you should NOT try to regenerate DPF filter (even static, or dynamic).
ECU does not know DPF characteristic after "reset DPF filter", so it would not be able
to provide safe burning of ash.

Reset DPF SENSOR should be done after changing of diferencial pressure sensor of DPF.
Reset DPF FILTER should be done after changing (to new one) DPF filter.

None of these actions is usable for solving of your troubles. You have clogged DPF filter,
as I can saw on video what I received,
so you have to change it or try to regenerate it.

Regeneration of DPF without appropriate knowledge
is risky on this type of model so I strongly recommend to find some tech. help.
Really. There were some cases where this type of engine will ignite fire while regenerating DPF !

Not neede. It could be done on cold car. Hot car must be in DPF regeneration action,
but it is not provide in Fordiag currently. One of cause Fordiag does not provide such action is danger of it on this model.

No. In case "reset of ...." it should be on key-on condition only.

It varies diag. to diag. There are some differencies between theirs procs ....
Some difs. are mistakes in soft, some are unsignificant.
(Even on Bosch KTS there are some faults in some procedures.)

Noted in previous post.
"reset DPF filter" causes cleaning of difference pressure characteristics in an ECU.

Hello @ all.

Hey Tomas...
in my Service tab is just ONE Chance to klick..
i can just DPF restet!!!

There is no other button...

Is it true or do you know that this Mondeo 2.0 TDCI from 2006 -2007
is a other OBD2 Protocoll? Some People told me this will be a Kind of
MS-CAN and HS-CAN so some Options just in MS or HS Can available.

So there are ELM327 with MS-HS Hardware-Switch in cerculation..

Is it possible that this is the reason in my case?

i can just choose RESET DIFF.PRESSURE SESOR

i can not activate the static Regeneration!!
